ARCNET

For compatibility reasons EUROS supports also ARCNET (Attached Resource Computer Network), which was one of the first Local Area Networks (LANs) introduced on the market in the early 1980s by the company Datapoint.
After the introduction of the Ethernet, ARCNET-based LANs have been widely replaced by Ethernet based ones, which operate on speed of 10 Mbit/s versus the 2.5 Mbit/s supported by ARCNET.
